AN EXPLORATION IN THREE PARTS

From a drifting form
to something wearable.

Jellyfish imagery provides a starting point for fluid shape, translucency and a blue-toned palette. The material studies translate those qualities into mesh, organza, lace and layered details.

The collaborative process moves from material selection and silhouette sketches to cutting, joining, shaping and finishing the garment.

The material experiments provide another view of the practice: working through touch, construction and the behaviour of a physical medium.
